Blockmension Client is a free program that lets you connect to ClassiCube (minecraft) servers and build fantastic structures, chase humans when being a zombie or try to survive the lava flood. It is based on ClassiCube client.

You need a ClassiCube account to be able to log in to servers. You can create one at http://www.classicube.net - it's free :) Also, remember that you can set your own skin there.

Do you have suggestions or did you find any bugs, please write about them here -> viewforum.php?f=36

Download:
Blockmension 1.1 Windows
Blockmension 1.0 Linux (update pending)

What's new

Version 1.1
  • feature: you can specify the ip for a direct connection,
  • feature: auto updater, it asks each time for the permission to udpate.

Version 1.0
  • scrollable chat with a mouse wheel or page down and page up keys,
  • music and sound volume can be set in options (too loud foot steps? you can tune them down),
  • sound for placing blocks,
  • smooth ice movement,
  • direct port connection (that's for server owners),
  • support for keyboard shortcuts (CPE).

I didn't plan to. Anyway, can you explain why would you prefer to use xwom instead of Blockmension?

Because it allows MInecraft accounts, and I prefer xWoM over ClassiCube and Classicube over wom. And if Windows gets xWoM, I think we should to :D Plus, what's the point of having a topic for it if it doesn't work?

There is an issue connecting to servers that are hosted in the same network but on a different computer.

I will update the Linux Xwom, but still it's recommended to use Blockmension.

I see, it seems that you have to use the local IP address to connect to that server. I will add a field for a server IP for the direct connection. A new release should be out soon.

The Blockmension Client requires you to create an account on http://www.classicube.net/

Sorry for the inconvenience but Classic seems to be dying on Minecraft.net
