Online Players widget.
Posted: 30 Jun 2014, 23:28So, yeah I got bored and I decided to make a widget that shows the current players online and a bit of information such as their title, level, rank and map they are situated in.
Here's a graphical preview:
Basically, I have a thread on my server uploading the information to my website every 30 seconds and when the widget is open, it grabs the information and formats it into a data grid. The widget refreshes every 35 seconds and I added features such as Opacity (transparency) and the option to make the widget keep on-top of all windows on your PC.
I'll leave an attachment of a build of the widget but read the notes below.
Notes:
The program might say the server is offline even when it's online, just restart the widget.
Use the top of the widget to drag it.
This will only show players online on MY server.
