Useful: if you are under a lot of spam, this will be useful because then there will be no more chat incoming to your screen.

Don't u mean it stops auto scrolling to the bottom?
Pausing it would be a bad idea.

I think what HelloWorldCool means is stopping the auto-scrolling to the last line when a new text arrives. And well I could add a button for it, but I am thinking about a nicer way to solve this problem, that I noticed in some messanging clients. It works the way that when the handle of the scroll bar is not at the very bottom then you are not send to the last line when a new text arrives.

In accordance to /whisper, there should be another command like /msg
The subcommand(s) should be as follows:

/msg [player] [message]
/msg [console] [message]

I hope this can be implemented and is convenient use for the console as well as for the players since sometimes /whisper will get annoying.

Whisper though should be kept as a command...until someone comes up with the command(s):
/msg [@][player] [message]
/msg [@][console] [message]

@ means you will message the player/console forever until you msg someone else.

There is also an other way to whisper.
You just have to write an @ and then the name of a player.
As example:
"@TheOneMeg Hello.." or "@Meg blabla.."

And if someone like to whisper with the console, he can write "/send <his own name> blablabla.." and the console will see it in the Command log.
