The remote console is blocked by the latest Java update.

Unfourtunately the new Java update discards all the self-signed applets. The applet was self signed, because it required a permission to make a tcp connection to another computer. But the permission is not required if the target computer "says" explicitly that it accepts the incoming connections. Currently MCDzienny software doesn't support it. It's because another port would have to be opened. I will investigate the possiblity. I could also release a stand-alone remote console, which would work right away.

Hmm, I'd suggest making a standalone version, because people might not like the ads this website's host always display but it's also easy access, and if any way needed you have opportunity to save local files so players can keep logs and save connections.

There's a new remote console that no longer uses "browser-broken" Java. It now uses HTML5 + JavaScript + WebSockets, thus it should work even on mobile devices.

Definitely very nice interface; really user-friendly.

Problem is, there are basically no players on the servers except for Lee's.

Maybe it's time... :?:

That's true specifically if you mean by 10+ players, it seems that MCForge is continuing and are trying to compete, before that there was 2 other active MCDzienny servers.
