10.5.1 | Large memory usage freebuild

10.5.1 | Large memory usage freebuild

Postby Ultima » 23 Jun 2013, 10:30

The server has been up for 2.5 days now and it's using 870mb.
There are only 5 maps loaded.

While i am typing this, 1 map unloaded and the memory stayed the same.
It seems the memory doesn't get free-ed after a map is unloaded.

When i count the GUI weight the total is around 70kb.

I must say that megaboid and triangle are used very often.

There were some bugs related to /megaboid that caused a memory leak. The memory leak happened when a player had left the server before the /megaboid completed. It's fixed in the new version.

Just a little suggestion...maybe we should get either a new cmd, or add this to the system.

There should be a memory/ram refresher every ...idk say 24 hours? This will help the system stabilize and keep mem usage low.
A command might be a little frustrating so I'm more for the "add-to-system" option.
