sometimes when people log off, they dont get logged off in the game and until they are kicked they cant log back on, it says already logged on, i have tried ?overide=true and that doesnt help

It should only happen if you have "verify names" turned off. Make sure that this option is turned on. Otherwise there's a risk that someone may impersonate a staff member. By the way, it's turned on by default. There probably should be a warning when someone tries to turn it off. I may add it in some of the next releases.

What kind of name?
I've just checked email documentation on wiki. It turns out that, for example, the following is a valid email address: !#$%&'*+-/=?^_`{}|~@example.org
The currently allowed characters in a players name are: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz01234567890._-@
I will add + to the list in the next release.

It's a potential security hole. It's better not to tell anyone about it
