I would like to suggest a new shop element where you can buy a rank up whit the points u earn I have no idea if this is in the game but excuse me if it is but it would be a cool feature for the future, thank you for looking at this topic , much thanks, btw the server is fucking awsome dude i luvvvee it!

buy rank is actually a custom command that you can download from the mclawl custom commands forum. I agree too that this server is awesome!

As testing said there's a custom command that may be used for that. Still i may implement it in the future, but the problem is that you can think up your own custom ranks and it makes things a little complicated. Check out the custom command section, i've added Shade2010 /buyrank. Hope it works.
