[9.2] OutOfMemoryException

Re: [9.2] OutOfMemoryException

Updated to 9.3.3.0

25,000K to 175,000K over the last several hours and climbing.

I launched a second server in private mode and the same thing happened.
No commands with no one logged in.

This issue started when the SQLite database manager was replaced.

If anyone has a copy of 9.1.1.0 please post it...I 'apparently' .... deleted my copy...

Will report back if anything happens.

It is still slowly climbing at a steady speed....up to 628,000k over 12 hours

It climbs at the same pace whether people are on or off...full server or not.

/serverreport
(06:28:28) Uptime: 0 Days 12 Hours 2 Minutes 15 Seconds
(06:28:29) Memory Usage: 643 Megabytes
(06:28:29) CPU Usage (Processes : All Processes):0.6778439 : 0.8984591
(06:28:29) Threads: 26

I am leaving the house and would usually restart the server at slow a time like this.
Instead I will leave it running until it fails again and observe.

Thank you for the information. Indeed, there were memory leaks related to the database usage. The data was not disposed correctly. The problem is fixed in the version 9.4.

That is great news. :D

Wow...it got up to 800,000K+

I update to 9.4 and am out for the day.

Like always, I will report anything of concern.

Thanks again Dzienny,

I have updated to 9.4.2 and have had 7.5 hours of uptime since, without needing to restart every 2 -4 hours like the last few days.
I was getting problems with the players not able to use commands or the chat after a few hours of uptime, it now seems to be fine.

I don't know if this can help, I have had a few errors first come up after 6 hours of uptime with 9.4.2.
They might not related to this problem but I'll post them anyway.

Spoiler:

All with the same error logs.

----27/02/2013 1:26:42 AM ----
Type: NullReferenceException
Source: MCDzienny_
Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Target: Blockchange
Trace: at MCDzienny.Level.Blockchange(Player p, UInt16 x, UInt16 y, UInt16 z, Byte type, Boolean addaction)

And no more errors for the last hour and a half.

Thanks.

Physics overwhelmed. That's what i call it. I've gotten that error before...caused because of physics. Oh and seems like ...you can't use commands when this happens...
If i remember correctly this showed up way before 9.0

I'm not sure where the physics on the server you mean are overwhelmed. Do you mean on the Freebuild maps, in the Lava Survival or the Server physics in general being a programming issue which I cant do anything about?
If it is caused because of physics on the server maps is there something I could resolve myself?

Sorry Cool, I'm not good at understanding the physics background of your answer.

I'm talking about in general, as you may have guessed...want to tell me your rplimit, rplimit-norm, and avg stop?

Also here are some of my old error logs...they may or may not be applicable to the current MCDzienny version...

They repeat more than once...if that helps:

Type: NullReferenceException

Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Yes and how, where?

I had it happen again with something different @'ERROR: NoBufferSpaceAvailable.' which kicked over half the players straight after it happened.

Spoiler:

It Seems to be happening a lot now.
Could the !!!Error! be from when I create the maps?

All of theses are the same:
-------------------------
----28/02/2013 5:12:46 PM ----
Type: NullReferenceException
Source: MCDzienny_
Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Target: Blockchange
Trace: at MCDzienny.Level.Blockchange(Player p, UInt16 x, UInt16 y, UInt16 z, Byte type, Boolean addaction)

-------------------------

Thanks
