Protecting lava spawn

Protecting lava spawn

Postby Ultima » 24 May 2012, 15:43

I see sometimes that the lava spawn can be removed with a sponge.
The area itself is a adminzone but a sponge can still delete liquids.

Possible to make the lava spawn protected against sponges?
(or remove all blocks in 5 block range at the spawn)

I support this suggestion, about 70% of the people that join my server always attempt to block or get rid of the lava spawn, pretty much defeating the purpose of lava survival.

Bump.

I'll have to agree with this.
Hmm...it may be possible.

1). Given your coordinates for lava spawn
(<Source block="ahl" x="39" y="62" z="39" type="" delay="0" />)

2). You could possibly define a sponge free zone using THOSE coords. (If the cords change in the txt, then protected area changes also)

3). How do do? Idk, maybe just use parameters to define that no sponge block may be placed in that area.
