Remote control console

I know this would be a huge project, but maybe this could be made. Here's what I've been thinking. Maybe there could be a piece of small software, that would be able to show the number of players, avg lag, uptime, (kinda how the status bar is in the newest version) And this could be installed onto the pc that's not being used to host it. One would be able to monitor the server without being on it.I don't see why it wouldn't work, But I bet it'll take a lot of work to code.
Any thoughts?

I like the idea. In the poll he cast out...I voted for it, but I was the only one who did. What I want in it, is something like..the chat, the command bar, average lag, and uptime. That's what I want in it.
