Ask & Request!

Ask & Request!

Postby Conor » 23 Feb 2013, 18:01

Hey,

I'm just wondering, how many people think of custom commands they want to create but they don't know how?

Well I'm posting this to point out that there are numerous people on this forum which love to help and have an understanding of code, such as ismellike and myself (and obviously Dzienny himself).

So, basically, if you need help with an idea you have, and you feel restricted because you don't know how to create what you want, then make sure you ask! We're all here to help with code so put your ideas out there.

That is all!

Thanks.

Would you find it beneficial if I made a text tutorial on these forums explaining how to make a simple command such as /pony or /say for you?

I know Dzienny has previously made tutorials explaining how to create custom commands and how to add them to the server, so I'm unsure whether me making another one would be at any use.

Let me know :)

Is that not what the 'enter' and 'r' keys are for? For checkpoints and respawning upon them?

However this would be possible.

Yes but it is very glitchy. Maybe have a cmd /setcheckpoint or /checkpoint that would have it on certain blocks.
