Bah, you know server owners. Claiming they will fix all the problems, yet they have 0 influance if it gets fixed or not. Leave it be.

I would, but you know how hard Dzienny works, he can change it to:

Lava
"The developer will soon fix the problems to the crashes."

Instead of I will

Ah, yeah, I agree with you there. Still, I believe Dzienny owns legal rights to MCDzienny, if not, he should copyright his material before someone steals it. If he does own the mark "MCDzienny", he has every right to go on the server and ask the owner to change it, else he can sue him. And if the owner is underaged... well... lets just say his parents wont be happy ;)

A officele trademark cost around a few thousands of dollar/euro..

Is this software even released under a license? (GPL etc..)

If it has no license everyone can do what he wants with it like changing the name and claiming it your own. (and even sell it)
and u cant sue him then.. :ugeek:

Don't know what happens if it has a copyright tho..

Dzienny is licensing this software under GPL. I agree with you and doubt he officialy owns the mark, but Dzienny is full of suprises.

GPL:

When we speak of free software, we are referring to freedom, not price. Our General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you have the freedom to distribute copies of free software (and charge for them if you wish), that you receive source code or can get it if you want it, that you can change the software or use pieces of it in new free programs, and that you know you can do these things.

To protect your rights, we need to prevent others from denying you these rights or asking you to surrender the rights. Therefore, you have certain responsibilities if you distribute copies of the software, or if you modify it: responsibilities to respect the freedom of others.

For example, if you distribute copies of such a program, whether gratis or for a fee, you must pass on to the recipients the same freedoms that you received. You must make sure that they, too, receive or can get the source code. And you must show them these terms so they know their rights.

If I'm correct, that says something along the lines of "Dzienny has to release the source if they used MCLawl, due to it being open source."
