I know that I will lose the data stored in MySQL. But is there a way to save some of the folders and what not? Any help would be nice.

I think you can just copy the folder. MCDzienny doesn't save any data outside of the folder apart from the case when you are using MySQL. If you are going to use MySQL on Mac then you can create a copy of your database and load it on the other computer. I never done this but it's 100% possible and I think MySQL Administrator provides the means.

NaviCat can import and export databases. There are premium and free versions. I suggest you download NaviCat Lite, which is free.
