A Goodbye from Alshicraft
Ever since the beginning of my career on minecraft I have devoloped many relationships. Most of my staff members have been friends, ever since the beginning. I first started playing Minecraft on many classic servers. Those were Blocktopia, aBlockz, etc. Well those servers are now shut down. I still thank everybody who has helped the server Alshicraft out. Premium and Classic have been running very well lately. I have many things to do on the future. I had many dreams of me and making my classic servers better. I have never reached that goal of making a better classic server, that is better than any other classic server.
A few days ago I got the word of one of the servers I used to play on and kept on playing on, that server was aBlockz. I was very sad by this server shutting down, cause I always used to play on the server. Thinking out about the past was very good. I just wish that I can come back into the server were my server making career started. I never thought of ending this fun activity, which I really love hosting and making servers….. I would also like to thank everybody on my staff list. People in their kept on helping me till the end. You can always trust them and count on them.
I have always wanted to be an operator or a trusted member of aBlockz. It was my dream ever since I joined. I really thought the server was unique. Classic is now less popular, you can talk to Mojang about this. As I said, _Ultima_ seemed like a very good server owner. I will miss his servers forever and ever. The shutdown of MCForge also was a great impact on many MCForge servers. My servers had to shutdown temporarily. I have decided to make something happen and I turned it on again. The first day about 3 people showed up. From the stats of Alshicraft we have increased to 11,000+ players. On all servers combined.
A new extension of Classic, is now called ClassiCube. It has the features of XWoM, and WoM. That’ll make hacking on servers more easier. Also it is very sad to say that my Classic server is now shutting down permanently. Classic servers are to much to handle now a days. To much to do for these servers. Classic, Zombie, I haven’t even made a CTF server yet. I was still planning to do so. I will just really miss everybody from all of the Classic Servers. The best expirence of my life in Minecraft. I feel very disappointed to say goodbye I have worked on for such a long time. This may not be the end for classic, but it is still losing popularity. The first time I have ever learned how to make a server was from a youtube video, but the owner of “[Logic] Lava Survival” was nice enough to help me create a minecraft server. I thank him the most, and may he Rest In Piece as he has died in his 20′s by having health problems.
A good thing though is that I am making a “Minecraft Premium”, “PvP Factions” server. With a lot of plugins and a very good spawn. With a shop and the borders will be at about 15000 blocks away from spawn. So it’ll be a big world. I just hope everybody in the classic community can remember such fun servers. Many servers have been shutting down. The PvP Factions server should be coming out soon. I will be getting a new computer so the server should be up ASAP.
