Hey HyBriDo, I'm quite sure there are two important factors causing this to happen.

First of all as dzienny has pointed out, the jar may not be compatible with 64-bit...
[.COM files incompatible with 64-bit Windows] ~Wikipedia
Second, generally .bat files don't work great on 64-bit computers. The process usually takes longer also.

Could you try downloading the file below, and run it from the same directory where wom.bat is?

A new version was released. It fixes server list that is now complete. Also it's possible to paste a classic server link to get to the server.

For those who have 64bit system, you can try to run "wom.bat" as it uses now same arguments as the web version. Although I doubt it fixes the problem.

Also, HelloWorldCool uploaded a file that may work for some of you. It addresses 32bit Java version that should be able to start 32bit libraries. If you have a different Java installation path, then you will have to edit the file, otherwise it won't start.

Nice report! I see great progress here, only 10 seconds. Still the time depends almost completely on minecraft.net and worldofminecraft.com responsiveness. If these sites lag it may take a lot of waiting.

It would be nice to be able to connect even if websites are down. I will see what I can do about it.

Anyway, a new version 1.3 was released. This one hopefully resolves the problem with 64bit systems.

Regarding the stats on the websites' responsiveness:
Site is currently experiencing severe intermittent performance issues.
Counter-action is being called into service.

And you just gave me an idea to comment on. ;)

There might not be any benefit but, I was wondering...under the following conditions:

> Server hosted by owner is online
> Ports(needed) all forwarded
> Minecraft.net is down

 Then can remote console still work for admins :?:

I re-downloaded WoM, and and dragged the 1.3 fix into the WoM directory, put the "starter" and "mcdzienny.cbs.pl" files into "lib"
and still getting the same errors.
Also, hwc's "wom64" file doesn't work either, just opens the command prompt for literally a second.

Just a side note:
Code: Select all
I've taken notice on how some users have been having problems with classic minecraft and the World of Minecraft Client.  I also noticed that they have Java 7 JRE installed which is causing problems with connecting and etc.

XWoM Fixed it ! :)
Thank you for taking time to fix this problem.
- when hax are turned off, the player's movement is same with the orginal minecraft client.

This makes it so much more enjoyable, especially since you can hold space to repeatedly jump, that's something that really annoyed me with WoM.

Bug:
When clicking on XWoM.exe, a window pops up saying "XWoM has stopped working Windows is checking for a solution to the problem.." about 3 seconds later it goes away and the normal WoM login windows shows up.

Good to hear that it works for you now. This lag may be caused by java files deployment. It shouldn't occur afer the first start. Anyway, I will do a research on how to fix that.

EDIT:
I think, I will add a progress bar that will be displayed when the program deploys java files for the first time.
