XWOM Client - Old Posts

I just downloaded xwom to try and use WOM -- which isn't letting me even sign in. I placed it into my WOM folder and tried to run it, but when I do, I get a single error box with "method not found: 'system.object system.windows.threading.dispatcher.invoke(system.delegate, system.obect[])'." on it. I have Java version 6 and windows XP, service pack 3. WOM and XWOM are all latest versions. Please help.

You are using XP that means you probably don't have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installed that is required to run XWOM. You can download it from here -> http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... aspx?id=21

I can't play with version 1.3 on Linux. I Still get the "Authentication error" and the newer versions of XWoM don't work with WINE. Sadly I can play Minecraft Classic only with WoM, because the browser-client doesn't work for me. Will there be a new linux version?

Yes, there will be a new Linux/Mac version quite soon.

Westbeam, I think it is still possible for you to connect to a server via direct connect.

Download the 'WoM DURL' file here: http://goo.gl/rTGHx

Then you can run that program, input your details and the server URL and it will output a WoM DURL at the bottom.

Use this output in the 'direct connect' box on WoM and hit go, this should take you straight to the server.

I did actually -- I updated my .NET framework after doing some research, but it still didn't work correctly.

You probably installed .NET version 4.0, but it has to be 3.5 exactly.

I've been trying to download this sence 2012 now -_- I Cannot find the Wom Directory, I have no idea what it even is, is it a file, is it a folder? or is it just in the wom packages next by Contents, Btw I'm on mac, I have no idea what a wom directory is, so please help me

Its simply the wom folder.
