TEXTURING!! Go in order for easiest results!
Things you will need:
    -A website
    -A picture editor

Website
First go make a free website at webs.com, this will be used to host your file

Picture Editor
Next, download an editor of your choice, I will use Gimp.

The texture
Now you need a texture, go to your wom folder>lib>minecraft.
Spoiler:

Edit your terrain.png to look what you want it to and save, keep a backup just in case you mess up.

The delivery
This is the part where your texture actually gets sent to people.
First we can start off by editing the file that people will download for the texture.
Save the following as a .cfg file
Code: Select all
server.name = Change this part to your server's name
server.detail = Change this for your message of the day (-hax +ophax etc)
detail.user = Change this for a message
environment.terrain = f3dac271d7bce9954baad46e183a6a910a30d13b
environment.edge = 685cfceb13ccee86d3b93f163f4ac6e4a28347bf
environment.side = 7c0fdebeb6637929b9b3170680fa7a79b656c3f7
environment.level = 7
environment.cloud = 6493539
environment.fog = 16237559
environment.sky = 13054663
server.sendwomid = true

Make sure to look at what is circled below and change it to match your save.

Uploading
This where your website comes in.
Find the place where you can upload a file and upload your .cfg file.
I ran out of attachments but this is how for webs.com
    Go to webs.com
    log in.
    go to manage website
    control panel
    manage files
    single file upload
    upload your texture.cfg

Final Step
Go to your server and change the motd to "&0cfg=[change this to link to download cfg file]"
Done!, if you have any questions just ask.

It doesn't matter just as long as you can upload it to your website.
