Because of All of the demand I decided create a simple guide.

Before you start:
-Know your router
-and login (if you don't know it, and it has never been changed don't worry about this yet)

===========================================================================

1) To begin double click spf.exe

**No it doens't require admin rights.

2) Then choose your router...I would recommend using the Search button

3) When you find it double click it.

4) It automatically finds your router ip...

5) Your Username + Password default is usually:
Username: Admin
Password: Admin

If it doesn't work check out: http://portforward.com/default_username_password/
*Please also check out: http://www.pcwintech.com/default-router-modem-passwords
Note: There is a second page(M-Z)

5) Upon Successful, Finish the Check List to the Right panel.

6) At Step 4 Add New Port to Forward....Add Custom

7) Settings:

Name: Minecraft
Type: TCP
Start Port: 25565
End Port: 25565
IP Address: already filled in for you

8) Click Add.
9) Exit Window. Do Step 7, and test that the ports now work.
10) You finished! hooray first time done!

P.S. If you want to view/remove manually in a web browser click the button in the right hand corner

Bit of a late reply but I put the type as 'TCP/UDP' and it works perfectly. Does it matter what it is?

Basicly UDP is leightweight, and TCP not, TCP is more for servers, UDP is more for a super-secret-stuff thinggy.
Read all about it here:

Ahh, so it doesn't matter which one you have on. I'll just keep TCP/UDP on for now (Seen as it's been working fine)
