Dear MCDzienny Server Owners,

MCDzienny Presets are custom created settings just for your own server!
You can choose from 3 main packages: Lite, Stable, and Ultra.

You have the option of installing your preset manually or using a prompt-guided installer. If you choose to use an installer, it would be best to run the "Setup.exe" in the main MCDzienny folder.

I have spent quite a lot of time on all of this so I hope you do appreciate it. If you have any personal comments, questions, or suggestions feel free to post here!

Classification: 3 Main Presets

[Ultra] - includes all the features of Stable and Lite, and highly configured settings.

+ Lava: Maps(default w/ cmds), Messages

Modified Package - A modified package is basically a collection of folders that hold settings that have been already set for you...kinda like pre-done for you. The download link is provided

1) Downloading the Software

3) After completing that hard task the next step is to put the files and folders to your preference.

5) Firstly what type of computer do you have?

If you have:

6) Linux/MacOS Setup

Do the Following in order
- Download mono framework from http://www.mono-project.com it will allow you to run .Net programs on Linux/MacOS,
- You can use in-built SQLite database or for a maximum stability install MySQL, that is free for a non commercial use,
- Edit properties that are located in 'properties' folder. The main property file is "server.properties",
- Start the server by executing [code]mono MCDziennyCLI.exe[/code]
OR
[code]mono --gc=sgen MCDziennyCLI.exe[/code] The flag sets garbage collector to SGEN that may work a bit better, use it only if you get out-of-memory exceptions.


Lastly, if for some reason you didn't start the Server with "MCDziennyCLI.exe" then that's the problem you should report in the help section of the forum![/spoiler]

Double click it, or right click it and either do run as administrator or open. Or try to redownload it from the website. I think i have had an error like this before.

Make sure your computer is Windows. If it is some other type of system the executable will not work properly.
If it is Windows, make sure you have installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4. By default Windows updates should have installed this for you unless you hid the update.

You should use the MCDzienny.exe one not the MCDziennylava.exe, use the one with the blue picture by the name. And see if that solves the problem.

Your situation is very unusual. I will just assume you have not been installing Windows updates frequently. My best bet is you should install Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile...which is also included/required in Windows update.

Please also post any additional error logs that you may encounter.
