Hello, I am running my server on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, and I run the server with mono..Everything works but the server does not use my settings that are in general.settings it uses the default..How can I fix this?? The server runs in the terminal of course, so there's no way to change it from there (i think)

Yeah Kinda weird he just left but idk something must have happened.

For your problem i will need an error log but here is one possible solution:

1) Start Your Server
2) Click "Properties" button by the Minimize button.
3) Go to the bottom LEFT hand corner and select "Using Mono/Linux?"

I have it running on mono currently, there are no errors but what happens is, in the "general.properties" I have set the settings to my liking, but it will not use my settings, it uses the default..I am not sure what to do to get it to load the settings..It works on Windows as intended but won't on Ubuntu.

I am using MCDzienny 6.8

I have version 6.8 i noticed 6.0 is actually MORE buggy. So I think i know why it doesn't work.

In Windows: There is a similiar error in my own personal case. If you have a setting like /setlava calm and default it is WILD then it won't save. (Same Solution Steps in Other OS..Look Below)

In Other OS: There is probably something like that also. So This is what i do...These are the steps to solve your problem.

1) Start Your Server
2) Edit All the Settings...Make Sure everything you want is set. (!!!DO NOT close it YET!)
3) Now after all is configured copy "general.properties" file to your desktop.
4) Now close the Server
5) DO NOT START SERVER...when you do step 6
6) Copy your "general.properties" on the dekstop to your MCDzienny\properties folder and replace the old "general.properties"
7) Now Start your server! Your settings have been saved and preconfigured! Congrats!
