An error

An error

Postby MrTeddi » 03 Aug 2011, 03:42

Ok so yesterday i started up my server and i get this error:

Type: NullReferenceException
Source: MCDzienny_
Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Target: LavaMapInitialization
Trace: at MCDzienny.LavaSystem.LavaMapInitialization()
at MCDzienny.Server.StartLava()
at MCDzienny.Server.<Start>b__0()

Then i started looking for what could be causing this and i found out its the database.db file. I could fix it by deleting it and it would work fine. But this has happened twice since then, and i want to know if there is a fix to fix without restarting everyone's level, money, title, etc. So if anyone could help me, that would be awesome.

Use MySQL, I don't trust SQlite since this error happened to me.

I didn't have such error but I guess it was caused by sqlite persistent connection malfunction, because there were other related to it issue. I've change it in the newest version, so you should update your server.

Oh wait, it just happened again like 5 minutes ago. Could someone teach me/find a video on how to do use MySQL? I can't find a tutorial that works

That's very strange since this error doesn't point to the database. Why do you think that it is corrupted database, did you get any other error? And what's your OS?

I run on Vista. The error didn't point to the database file, but i was trying to figure out what was causing it, so i figured that the database file probably held the error since its a database. But anyway i figured out of MySQl so its working fine.

And also, how do i get autoload to work?
