Why?

It depends on what client your using like I know what your talking about and its doing that on xwom use classicube because it doesn't do that

The minecraft server list, and XWoM show multiple servers because Mojang broke the list, now once you put a server online, it becomes static.

So if you start the server up again with a different url/port, it shows up again as another server.

Ways to not have your server show multiple times:

1. Use classicube.net It doesn't show multiple servers.

2. Keep your server on the same url/port and you should be fine.

3. Host it 24/7 the first time you put it up and don't reset your routers ports.

It also displays so often, when I use Classicube, but log me in with my minecraft.net Account...

Well, yeah.

If you use the Classicube download client, and you choose "Log me in with Minecraft.net" it will show you the Minecraft.net/classic/list

If you don't want to see that list, just stick to classicube's. It actually has working servers.
