Editing the score?

I was just wondering if it's possible to edit the score?

I can save a map from lava but I get a score of roughly 1300 for some reason. Is that normal? I use the scoremode BasedOnAir.

If you mean like someones level, do /cpe (name) (xp)

Actually I still can't get it to work properly. I can get it to work like a fixed score but not with the air blocks. :/
